Here is what’s coming up at Northcliffe Park Bowling Club over the next few months, outside the club’s normal league fixtures.

Taster Sessions
The next taster session of the season is on Sunday 6th July between 1:00pm and 3pm.
During the bowling season between April and September, we have a taster session on the first Sunday of each month.
The taster session is an open afternoon to give people the chance to come and “have a go”. We even have bowls that you can use, so don’t even think you cannot play because you do not have any bowls. Members will be there who can assist you & offer tips & advice.
Please wear flat shoes/trainers (not sandals).
It’s all about fun, come along, bring the family, and have a great afternoon enjoying bowling and even if you rather not play, just come along and have a chat and a cuppa on us.

Please put your name down on the sheet in the clubhouse if you would like to play.
All matches start at 1:30pm, please try to arrive a quarter of an hour earlier to help those that are doing the paper work.

Social Bowling Days.
All members can practice or play before and after home games.
Below are rules in regard to green fees when it comes to bowling on the social days.
On the first Sunday of the month, people who haven’t played before and are trying it with us for the first time, their session is free. If others take advantage of playing who have already had their “free” session. Then they should then pay £2.00 green fees which includes a cuppa. Additional cuppas should be paid for at 50p a cup. If a full member is playing on these Sundays, the usual rules apply – if that member is due to play in a game during the week (Sun-Sat), there is no charge. If that member isn’t playing in a game that week, then the £2.00 green fees should be paid.
These rules also apply to the Social Bowling on Tuesdays and Thursdays, too. If you are a social member, and you play on Tuesday and Thursday, then green fees are £2.00 per session – equalling £4.00. If you’re a full member, and you’ve played or are playing for the club that week (Sun-Sat) then you will only need to pay for the cuppa you have – again, 50p per cup.
If there are any under 18’s who play at any of the social bowling sessions, there is no charge for them, though there should be an appropriate adult in attendance with them.
